António Pinto Carvalho learnt the art of guitar making at the age of 10, from the teachings of his grandfather. He began by making cavaquinhos and guitars. This is the art that he would dedicate his whole life to.
The António Pinto Carvalho Open Pore is a charming entry level guitar with solid Cedar for the top and back and sides made of sapelli. It has student marker points on frets 3, 5 and 7, to assist with fretboard orientation for the beginning guitarist.
