I would like to welcome you to the SGS August update – all our guitar students have been involved in many great things over the last few months and I am delighted to be sharing this with you all.
Students have been actively participating in AMEB exams, solo and ensemble eisteddfodau, community performances, a winter workshop and a new weekly-ensemble class for kids. In this update, you will find further info on upcoming activities of our students, SGS guitar and lute recital, guitar community and information regarding the guitars on offer at our school. Our SGS team is increasing and I am delighted to welcome Biljana Mitrovic to our teaching team. It is wonderful to see our guitar community growing and it is through your encouragement, hard-work and dedication that inspires us to continue to do better. Thank you for your support! Biljana received her Bachelor of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, majoring in guitar performance with Gregory Pikler. She has over 15 years of guitar-teaching experience at schools including St Andrew's School, Shore School and Cranbrook School.
